Make Room To Examine Your Choices

Sometimes a decision remains unresolved because priorities compete for attention, especially during a life transition. In life coaching with Lesley Sayers & Associates on the Sunshine Coast, I ask questions and offer observations while you set the focus of our discussion. We may explore work, relationships, personal goals or the expectations you have placed on yourself.

The aim of a session is to examine what matters, what you can influence and which actions to consider. Coaching is client-led, so I do not decide your goals for you. If your main concern is a transition or recurring avoidance pattern, change coaching may offer another relevant way to frame the discussion.

For an introductory conversation at no charge, call 0419 845 203 or contact me.

Life, Career & Relationship Conversations

You set the focus of each session, including areas of life that overlap. Coaching can include:

  • Personal direction & values: We explore which parts of daily life matter most to you. I ask questions about the choices you are considering rather than suggesting one correct path.
  • Career goals & decisions: We can discuss a possible change at work, questions about leadership or a new professional direction. You decide which steps suit your situation.
  • Relationships & communication: A conversation may examine expectations, reactions and the part you want to play in a relationship. We consider what you can change in your responses.
  • Planning & follow-through: We can look at goals, procrastination and competing priorities. I help you review the actions you select between appointments without assuming a plan suits everyone.

From Your First Enquiry To Ongoing Sessions

  1. Your first step is to email me with an enquiry or arrange a call so we can exchange contact details. The introductory session is free and focuses on why you are considering coaching. I then provide a Client Profile with questions about areas such as health, family, relationships, leisure and work, together with your contact information. This helps us establish the context you want to share.

  2. Before ongoing sessions, we discuss the client agreement, confidentiality statement and how contact and resources between appointments are handled. If possible, you return the profile before session two. We then acknowledge your responses, clarify any arrangements and begin the coaching conversation you choose to lead. I also explain how any agreed tasks between sessions are approached. Appointments are generally 60–75 minutes, with frequency agreed individually.

Yes, life coaching can consider different areas of life when they are relevant to the client's chosen focus. The conversation may examine how decisions and expectations in one area affect another.

No, life coaching focuses on reflection, goals and personal decisions rather than diagnosing or treating a mental health condition. Concerns that require assessment or treatment should be discussed with an appropriately qualified health professional.
